We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Materials and Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will help ensure that the manufacturing site has the right tools, parts, and materials when needed, while keeping things running smoothly with suppliers and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Tools and Spare Parts: Ensure the site has the necessary tools, parts, and materials available for repairs, maintenance, and warranty needs.
- Oversee Material Deliveries: Supervise the delivery and management of materials, ensuring everything arrives on time and is available for use when needed.
- Track Repairs and Stock: Make sure that parts needed for repairs are available and managed properly, and that stock is replenished when necessary.
- Attend Meetings: Participate in daily and weekly team meetings to provide updates on ongoing activities and discuss any challenges or concerns.
- Provide Technical Support: Work with our engineering team to report and solve any technical issues that may come up during the production or maintenance process.
- Help with Claims: Assist in preparing paperwork for warranty claims or issues with materials, ensuring everything is properly documented for customers and suppliers.
- Prepare for Field Work: Support the team by getting all necessary materials, tools, and documents ready for any modifications or updates that need to be made at customer locations or other sites.
- Follow Company Standards: Ensure that all activities follow company procedures and safety standards, keeping both quality and safety a top priority.
- Promote Ethical Practices: Follow and encourage others to adhere to the company's ethical standards, ensuring honesty and integrity in all work.
- Work with Suppliers: Assist in managing relationships with suppliers, making sure they meet expectations and helping with any documentation when issues arise.
